Gerald Richard Heinrich, age 77, of Boulder City passed away on September 23, 2012. He was born on October 18, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan to Carl and Amelia Klena. Gerald retired from the Detroit Police Department as a Sergeant in 1981. He moved to the Las Vegas area in 1993 and to Boulder City in 2001. He was an avid pool shooter, had a love of dogs, and will be remembered for his movie collection.

Gerald is survived by his partner Aldina Ritter of Boulder City; five children Catherine Germonprez of Florida, Bridget (Briggs) Heinrich-Bott of California, Deirdre Heinrich, Maureen Heinrich, Kurt Heinrich all of Nevada; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
