John Sirak

John Sirak, age 87, passed away at home on February 11, 2018.  He was born on January 18, 1931 in Wilkes-Barre, PA to Anna and Michael Sirak.  John married the love of his life, Evelyn Rowe, on January 4, 1952 in Wilkes-Barre, PA.  John and Evelyn moved from Garwood, NJ to Henderson, NV about 17 years ago.  John was a very strong and proud man, and was an Arterial Gunman in the Korean War for the United States Army.  He lived as a masonry contractor and was always very skilled and hard working in his trade. Throughout his life he enjoyed gardening and was a huge New York Mets fan. He was a proud member of the Catholic Church along with his wife Evelyn.

John is preceded in death by his wife Evelyn.  He is survived by three children Deborah (Craig) Winton, John (Luanne) Sirak, and Brian (Carolyn) Sirak; eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all of whom he cherished deeply.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday February 20, 2018 at 10:40 am at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd Boulder City, NV where John will be laid to rest with military honors.  Family and friends can sign an online memorial guestbook at www.bouldercityfamilymortuary.com
