My condolences to Marianne, Liz, and Tom and their families on your loss. Your mother was always sweet, kind, helpful, and cheerful to anyone she encountered.

Your mom was much like a mom to me also, her caring, loving ways will be missed. As a grown up I loved seeing Marion at daily mass and on Sundays. She lit up a room with her smile and laugh. Always ready to help with anyone and everything. I would ride my bike around BC at 4:30-5 am and I ALWAYS saw Miss Marion walking all over town, always with a smile and a sweet hello. She is missed and loved unconditionally by me and my family. I'm so sorry I will have to miss her service but she remains in my heart ❤️

I met your beautiful mother and grandmother back in the nineteen-eighties when we were taking aerobics classes together and dancing to the tunes of the decade. As the years passed, we would often run into each other at the market where we always stopped to chat for a few minutes and to share a few laughs. One day years later, I talked to her about joining the tai chi class that I was teaching at the time. She was unfamiliar with it, but on Monday morning there she was, ready and willing to learn and to begin something new. It pleases me to know all these years later that she kept up with the practice. Just last week I saw her one last time in the market, but sadly it was from a distance, and I am sorry that we didn't get the chance to chat on that day. Marian, you were a ray of sunshine and will truly be missed in our little town. Along with your family, we too, have lost a gem. Rest in peace, sweet lady.
