Phillip Ray Sewell, age, 73, of Henderson, NV passed away on April 15, 2017.  He was born on September 19, 1943 in Norfolk, VA, to Raymond and Annie Parrish Sewell.  He served his country in the United States Army for over 20 years.  He married Peggy Fairchild on January 4, 1969. 

Phillip loved to play golf and was a member of both a men’s league and a mixed league in Boulder City.  He also enjoyed traveling.  He and Peggy moved to the Las Vegas area after he retired from the Army in 1986.

Phillip is survived by his children James (Jeannette) Fairchild and Candice (Russell) Meiries; his five grandchildren, Russell, Maverick, Kendall, Chris, and Jason; companion Genny Lowther, and brother Alvah Gwaltney.  He is preceded in death by his wife Peggy Sewell and brother Jerry Sewell.
