Thomas James Dixon, age 71, passed away on March 30, 2018 in Las Vegas, NV. He was born on June 4, 1946 in Bremerton, WA to Thomas Dixon and Joyce Brown Dixon. He moved from San Diego to Las Vegas around 1969.
He served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and served aboard the USS Kitty Hawk. In Las Vegas, Thomas worked for Mission Linen Supply for 35 years starting as a delivery driver and ending one of their top salesman. Thomas was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed visiting places from his past and attending family events.
Thomas is survived by his companion of 30 years, Dorothy Johnson; daughters Blondina Dixon and Carmelyn Dixon; sister Linda Tatum; four grandchildren Dominique, Michael, Emerald, and Rodney; and three great grandchildren Michaela, Stefon, and Amillie.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 9, 2018 at 10:00 am at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV. Family and friends can sign an online memorial guestbook at www.bouldercityfamilymortuary.com
