David Arden Powell

David Arden Powell, 76, passed away in Bullhead, Arizona, on March 29. David lived in Boulder City for the past 56 years. He worked as a steel worker and a tile setter. David lived his life fulfilling his most treasured role of father and grandfather. When anyone would ask him how his day was, whether it was a good day or a not so good day, he would always reply "Simply Loving Wonderful."

While we mourn David, his positive, easy going spirit and dedication to his family has provided them with comfort in all the good times they shared together. The love for David is felt in the warm memories he created with his family. We celebrate and remember him as a truly wonderful family man.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathyann; brother, Thomas; parents, Dorothy and Arden; and his traveling partner, his dog "Emma." He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Cecilia; his children, Kitty (Charles), Jeff (Heather), Jade, Tabitha (Thomas), Angelique (Austin). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and his sister, Judy (Paul).
