Grandpa I hate that it had been so long since we had seen one another, but that did not lessen my love for you. You taught me to fish and to enjoy the quiet of being in someones company. I wish you could have met my boys but they know you either way. I love you and miss you.

Safe journey, Don. Dan has shared with me many of your crazy adventures. Remember to save him a place so you two can go fishing again when it's his time. The weeks and months ahead will be difficult for Yan, Donelle, Arianna, Dawn and Donnie but they will be in my thoughts and prayers for the courage and strength they need. I know you will be watching out for them.
