Elizabeth S Burton, age 95, passed away on January 1, 2018 in Las Vegas, NV.  She was born on August 23, 1922 to Evelyn and Robert Suhr in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania where she lived for 62 years.  After retiring, she and husband Wade were snowbirds for 20 years, traveling between Boulder City, Nevada and Bath, New York. They moved permanently to Boulder City in 2004.

Elizabeth is of the Christian faith.  She enjoyed traveling, reading, puzzles, bingo and buffets.  She also loved to play cards and games with the family.  Her greatest joys in life were her husband of 70 years, her children and son-in-law, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was known for her great wit and kind words.  Family gatherings will not be the same.  She will be greatly missed!

 Elizabeth is survived by her daughter Linda (David) Colyar of Boulder City, and son Michael Burton of Tampa, Florida; sister Barbara Carson of Wellsboro, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 70 years Wade Burton; son Craig Burton; and sister Gene Denz.
