Evelyn Carrol Graham

Evelyn Carrol Widmann Graham, age 76, passed away on January 25, 2018.  Evelyn was born on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 1941 in Brawley, California to Phyllis Pearl Marble Widmann and George Erwin Widmann.  She married her sweetheart Wayne Everett Graham on July 4, 1959 in Milton Freewater, Oregon.   They lived in California, Washington, Idaho and finally settled in Nevada.  When Wayne retired they moved to Arizona.  They were very active in the LDS Branch and loved their time there.  Their grandchildren loved visiting Grandma and Grandpa.   Five years ago Evelyn moved to Boulder City to be closer to family for health reasons. 

Evelyn is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  She taught many classes at church and blessed the lives of many as she served.  Evelyn and Wayne were sealed for Eternity in the Las Vegas Temple in 1995. 

Evelyn loved to read.  She loved to take walks.  She was a very talented woman.  She was a wonderful cook, a master candy maker, an excellent seamstress.  She was accomplished in crocheting, knitting, and needlework.  With all of her many talents the thing she loved most was spending time with her family.  She could happily visit all day as she recounted her numerous stories.  We will miss those stories.

Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 40 years, Wayne, and her grandson, Jacob.  She is survived by her siblings: Gladine, Delbert, Marilyn and George, five children:  Cora-Lee (Victor) Miller, Sherri Graham, Aimee (Jeff) Bardshar, Matthew Wayne (Grace) Graham, and Morgan (Scott) Savarda; 20 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Visitation will take place on Saturday February 3, 2018 at 10:00 am at the LDS Buchanan Chapel, 1550 Buchanan Blvd, Boulder City, Nevada.  Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 am.  Evelyn will be laid to rest next to her husband at the Boulder City Cemetery.  Family and friends can sign an online memorial guestbook at www.bouldercityfamilymortuary.com
