Karen Cox Obituary

Karen Ann Cox, age 38, passed away at home on December 1, 2018, after losing her battle with liver disease. She was born November 8, 1980 in Jacksonville, NC, to Carl and Linda Cox. She grew up in Asheville, NC, and lived in Henderson, NV since 2007.

Karen enjoyed hiking, camping, and kayaking in the great outdoors. She loved music, animals, painting, and all sorts of arts and crafts projects. She also enjoyed going to the gym, working out with kettle bells, shopping, and Starbucks coffee.

She is preceded in death by her father, Carl R. Cox. She is survived by her daughter Abby Rose Zeigler, her sister Judy C. Kennedy, her mother Linda Cox, one niece and nephew Alice and Joshua, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Monday December 10, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Bethany Baptist Church, 210 Wyoming Street Boulder City, NV. Family and friends can sign an online memorial guestbook at www.bouldercityfamilymortuary.com
