Kathleen Ann Murphy, age 71, passed away at home on May 30, 2017 in Henderson, NV.  She was born on December 2, 1945 in Springfield, MO to Jean and John Payne.  Kathy started dating George Murphy in 1989 and then married in 1990 in Las Vegas, NV.

Both Kathy and George were very active in the Basic Aerie Eagles for ten years.  Kathy loved NASCAR and joined a NASCAR league at Hammer’s Grill and Bar.  She was there for every race.  Kathy also loved to cook, and was an artist when it came to crocheting. 

Kathy loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren; she would do anything for them.

Kathy is survived by her husband George; two children LaDeana (Lee), Travis (Patsy) Cameron; five grandchildren Christopher (Donna) Roehm, Christopher (Justine) Benavidez, Geneva Cameron, Alicia Cameron, Ashley Cameron; four great grandchildren Diesel, Rheannon, Carli, Jordan; and two sisters Marlene Mackler and Susan Lasater.
