Lynn Hymas Obituary

 

Lynn Ray Hymas, 66, passed away on January 17, 2019. He was born in Montpelier, Idaho to Victor Ray and Barbara Black Hymas on February 7, 1952. He was the fourth of six children. He attended school in Montpelier and graduated from Bear Lake High School. He married Susan Passey on August 14, 1970 in Providence, Utah.

Lynn was an avid car nut from his early years starting with working with his dad at the Sinclair Station, working on cars. His love of cars grew to watching NASCAR and all other car races and working on his own cars.

He loved hunting and fishing, camping and going to the mountains to haul wood. Most of all he loved his family. He loved the challenge of helping his boys make the fastest and best looking pine wood derby car (which they did). He also loved music, singing and playing his guitar. He loved the family BBQ’s and playing with his kids and grandkids in the pool.  He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

He is survived by his loving wife, Susan, seven children, Son, Paul Dewain,  Daughter, Tara Lyn Tiraada,  Son,  Bryan Victor (Shannon), Daughter, Trisha Rae Hymas, Daughter, Kaley Sue Brennan (Robert), Daughter, Jodi Lyn DeJuncker (Jason), Daughter, Kristi Lee German, 29 Granchildren, 6 Great- Grandchildren.  Sister, Vickey Dixon (Melvin), Brother, Monte Hymas (Kim), Sister, Penny Kunz (Larry), Brother in law, Lonnie Kunz, Sr. Many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins, also his loving puppies, Codi and Coco.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Sister Joy, Sister LaRae Kunz, Granddaughter, Sara Elizebeth Tiraada, Son in Law’s, Jeffrey Ray Tiraada, Erik German, Eugene Cook and Ryan Jolley.

Services will be Saturday January 26, 2019 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 1551 Galleria Dr. Henderson, NV 89014. Viewing will be from 10:00-11:00 with funeral following.
