Stephen Michael Haney

Stephen Michael Haney, age 71, of Boulder City, NV passed away at his home in Boulder City on December 14, 2018.  He was born in Glendale, CA on May 11, 1947 to Ralph and Elizabeth (Hartley) Haney. Stephen served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam from 1968-1970. After Vietnam he attended college at Cal State University, Northridge. He married Torri Martincek on March 5,1977 in Twin Peaks, CA . They began their family in Lake Arrowhead, CA where they lived for twelve years. Stephen built a successful company, Environmental Cost Control Inc, which he ran for thirty-five years.  They moved to Boulder City twenty-eight years ago.

Stephen loved playing golf with all of his many dear friends. His greatest joy was at his family cabin in the Sierras where he spent summers  with his grandparents from the time he was three. Stephen took great pride in carrying for his yard.

Stephen is survived by his wife Torri Haney; son Brian Haney, grandchildren Payton and Daniel; daughter Megan (Justin) May grandchild Chayson; son Michael (Rebecca) Haney; brother Doug (Ingerlisa) Haney; sister Sue Smith; and special nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

Funeral services will be held on December 29, 2018 at Grace Community Church, Boulder City, NV. Viewing will be at noon and services will be at 1PM. Burial will be private at a later date. Family and friends can sign an online memorial guestbook at www.bouldercityfamilymortuary.com
