Susan Ann Ord

Susan Ann Ord, age 63, passed away October 13, 2018. She was born on May 11, 1955 in Fargo, North Dakota to Eleanor and Melvin Foss. Susan joined the United States Army on April 22, 1975 and married Jeffre Ord, her husband of 42 years on June 16, 1976 while both were stationed with the 8th Infantry Division in Bad Kreuznach, Germany.  Susan and Jeffre raised their family in Fort Collins, Colorado and moved to Boulder City, Nevada in 2003.

Susan worked side-by-side with her husband for 27 years providing forklift safety training programs that protected thousands of operators nationwide from life threatening injuries.  Together they enjoyed boating, off roading adventures and motorhome travel.  Susan was a devoted Christian involved in many international relief organizations.

Susan is survived by her husband Jeffre Ord; son Justin Ord, his four children, Jake, Annika, Tyler and Rylan; daughter Jenny Marrick, husband Matt and their four children, Collin, Kyrah, Morgan and Spencer; son Stephen Ord, his wife Angela and their three children Stephen, Tristin and Ellia; sisters Diane Williams, Jan (Dave) Humke, Nancy (Ben) Boyum and Karen (Jim) Hammers; brother-in-law Tom Ord and many nieces and nephews.

An immediate family funeral service will be held Thursday November 8, 2018 at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City, Nevada.

Family and friends are welcome to join us in a Celebration of Life for Susan that will be held Friday, November 9, 2018, 10:00am at the Lake Las Vegas Sports Club, 101 Via Vin Santo, Henderson, Nevada 89011.  Food and refreshments will be provided.
