Dennis Houser Obituary
On July 21, 2020 Dennis Anthony Houser was reunited with his beloved wife in heaven. He was born on March 2,1942 in Lebanon Indiana. Dennis was an Army veteran who married the love of his life Nancy on October 29, 1966. Together they would travel the 50 states and hit every baseball stadium. Dennis was a huge Dodgers fan and looked forward to the baseball season every year.
He was a hard worker all his life. He worked two jobs, seven days a week to provide for his family. He always made sure they were cared for. He enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren in various sports at Boulder City High School. He and Nancy would attend many sporting events for over 30 years. They went on to be elected into the Boulder City High School Hall of Fame as Super Fans in 2012, a title they really enjoyed. He would always play a board/card games with the grandchildren. He was a whiz at Monopoly. His children and grandchildren meant the world to him. Dennis often said he had the best life, the best wife and children.
Dennis is survived by his children: Dennis Houser Jr., Dorene DuBreuil (Jason), Darrell Houser, Denise Ford, Derek Houser, Darla Angell, Devin Houser (Shannon), Dena Houser; Grandchildren: Edward (Alli), Victoria, Luca, Damon, Kristopher, Ryder, Cayden, Mackenzie, Hannah, Rayden, Leland, Mackenna; Great granddaughter Emily; brother Dave and his sister Camille. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Nancy and his parents Clarence and Harriett Houser.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in his honor to Boulder City High School. These donations will be used to help students afford the costs of playing a sport/sports. This was a major part of Dennis and Nancy’s lives and they would be honored to help students continue to play. Our dad knew that sports would come back and was looking forward to watching.
