Grant A Lang

Grant A Lang, age 88, of Las Vegas, NV passed away on April 5, 2019 surrounded by his family in his home.  He was born on July 25, 1930 in St George, UT to Albert Lang and Zella Hall Lang.  Grant married Caroline Hardy on November 3, 1954 in the St George, UT Temple.  They moved to Las Vegas shortly afterwards.  Grant worked many different jobs in civil service.

Grant was a member of the Washington Avenue Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and was a faithful h one teacher and loved his calling in the church library.  Grant enjoyed reading, playing horse shoes, ping pong, fishing, and gathering pine nuts.

Grant is survived by his wife Caroline Lang; four children Connie (Gary) Rogers, Calvin (Kara) Lang, Kathaleen (Danny) Peters, Marie Martinez; a sister Valda Slack; two brothers Delmar Lang, Wayne Lang; 19 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. He is preceeded in death by one grandchild.

Services will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 1775 N. Christy Lane, Las Vegas, NV 89110 with visitation starting at 10:00 am and Services at 11:00 am.  Burial will be held on Monday, April 15, at 12:00 noon at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
