James William Conklin “Jim” age 77, passed away at home in Henderson, NV on May 1, 2022. He was born in Lebanon, OR on February 28, 1945 to Eugene Conklin and Ruth Johnston Conklin. He married Carol Marie Ashlock in Sweet Home, OR on February 14, 1970. They moved to Nevada in 1977 from Sweet Home, OR.

James worked as an autobody technician and enjoyed his job so much he did it as a hobby at home. Later in his life he gained a passion for building RC Planes and flying them. His grandchildren were his greatest passion.

James is survived by his wife Carol Conklin; a daughter Brenda (Clint) Cockrell; a son Robert (Diane) Conklin; a brother Richard Conklin; a sister Juanita Merritt; five grandchildren Kody, Kasey, Kym, Tim and Aaron.
