Jared Wayne Darnell

Jared Wayne Darnell of Henderson, NV passed away Saturday, April 2nd, 2022, at the young age of 31. He is the son of William Darnell and Michele Buffington. Jared is survived by his wife, Sylvia Rose Darnell whom he Wed on May 11th, 2019, in Boulder City, NV. And his two sons Ezra Ryan Darnell, age 3, and Royce Anthony Darnell, age 2.

Jared worked for Switch since 2018, most recently as a Logistics Operator. He was an exceptional father to his two young sons. Jared found joy in spending time with his boys, showing them how to drive an electric car, splashing in the pool, and reading them books.

Anyone who knew Jared would describe him as fun, loving, and that of the biggest heart. He was always the life of the party and had a special way of making those around him laugh and smile. He enjoyed playing video games, and having game nights with his friends, including Dungeons and Dragons. He was artistic, representing his skills through drawing and acrylic paints.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Sylvia; sons, Ezra and Royce; father, William; mother, Michele; brothers, Jason, Travis, Trenton and Matthew; and sisters, Krissi, Jessica, and Kayla.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 14th, 2022, at 117 Ocotillo Street Henderson, NV 89015 at 2PM. The celebration will be as Jared would have wanted – in boxers and pajamas.
