Louis Philip Brito

Louis Philip Brito, age 50 of Boulder City, NV passed away on April 30, 2020. He was born in Arcadia, CA on June 27, 1969 to Ernest and Henrietta Garcia Brito.  

He joined the Coast Guard in 1990, where he had the opportunity to sail to many exotic places.  Louis was blessed to have spent 15 years of his Coast Guard career stationed in Hawaii.  He was stationed briefly in Search Light, NV, which ultimately led him to settle down in Boulder City NV, after his retirement in 2015.

Louis was very proud and honored to have spent 25 years in the Coast Guard and to retire as a Chief Machinist Technician. He married Annette Raven on August 16, 2019 in Oahu Hawaii. Although he never had any children of his own, he was so proud to become a grandpa when he married Annette. Louis would often say “I went from having no, children to being a grandpa."  with pride, and a beautiful smile on his face. 

Family and friends were Louis’s most precious possession. 

He loved to spend time on the water, especially being at the sandbar in Kaneohe Hawaii with his Hawaii Ohana. He was a man of faith and a member of the Catholic Church. Louis is survived by his wife Annette Brito; mother Henrietta Brito; Brother Victor and Sister Renee.
