Patricia "Patty" Rainey

Patricia “Patty” Rainey, 56, passed away peacefully at her home in Boulder City, Nevada on January 24, 2020. She was born March 21, 1963, in Covington, Kentucky to Thomas Sr. and Blondie “Pat” Riggs. She married Guy Rainey on June 27, 1982.

Patty is survived by her husband of 37 years, Guy, her two daughters Crystal Crosson of Las Vegas and Amber Rainey of Boulder City, grandson Coleston Crosson, and brothers Thomas Riggs Jr. and Tony Riggs.

Patty was a long-time resident of Boulder City where she lived since childhood. She graduated Boulder City High School with the class of 1981 and became a proud wife and mother shortly thereafter. Patty enjoyed being a homemaker, a caretaker to her husband, and most recently a crossing guard. In her free time, she enjoyed arts and crafts, gardening, reading, researching her family history and most importantly being a grandma.

The family has decided to postpone services at this time. When one is scheduled all will be notified and welcomed to attend.

Patty had a passion for helping animals so, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Boulder City Animal Shelter at 810 Yucca Street in Boulder City, NV 89005 In the memo please include “in memory of Patty Rainey” per their request.
