Paul Michael Meicher

Paul Michael Meicher 76 was taken home by our heavenly Father on September 15,2020 at Las Vegas VA Hospital of Covid-19. To be our forever angel.

Paul was born December 22,1943 to Leo and Mary (Hauser) Meicher in Pheasant Branch Wisconsin. Paul graduated from Middleton Wisconsin High Wisconsin class of 1962. He enlisted in USAF and served 8 yrs. In 1978 he reenlisted in Wisconsin Army National Guard, in 1980 he transferred over to Wisconsin Air Guard until 1988 when he felt he served our country long enough. He had a total of 17yrs,10months and 21 days with the rank of E6. Paul retired from University of Wisconsin April, 2004 to go traveling with his loving companion Patsy Horton Meicher in their motorhome. He loved traveling and seeing the wonders of our beautiful country. In 2014 we landed at Las Vegas, NV area and we loved the area and retired to Henderson, NV in 2017.  He was a life member of DAV 12 & VFW 3848 Henderson, NV.

He is survived by his wife Patsy Meicher. a daughter Michele (Mark) Brown, two sons Scott (Paula) Meicher and Brent (Tanya) Meicher. Two Stepdaughters Sheila (Donald) Zoellick Angela Horton and a stepson Charles (Karla)  Horton III. Sixteen grandchildren, and four greatgrandchildren. A sister Dorothy McQuade; a brother Ken (Gerri) Meicher. Paul is preceded in death by a son Dean, His parents, a sister Delores Karleski, three brothers Mike, Roy and Gerald Meicher. 

Per Pauls wishes he will be cremated and put to rest at Boulder City Southern Nevada Memorial Cemetery on November 24, 2020 at 11:20 am. with a celebration of life.

Rest in Peace, your battle is over and fly high with the eagles.
