Robert Melvin Clyde

Robert Melvin Clyde age 93, of Quartzsite, AZ passed away in Las Vegas, NV on September 18, 2020.  He was born in Compton, CA to Harry Clyde and Elizabeth Kowalis Clyde. He married Donna Colleen Anderson on November 25, 1959 in Los Angeles, CA.  They moved to Quartzsite from Simi Valley, CA after retiring. They moved to Henderson to be closer to family. Colleen preceded him in death on June 15th of this year.

Robert was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and enjoyed doing studying many topics.  He was a pilot and enjoyed flying.  He was an avid reader and loved to study odd topics as well like alternative histories and mysteries.

Robert has six boys Ron (Nancy) Clyde, David (Bonnie) Clyde, Rick (Nina) Clyde, Kevin (Jenny) Clyde, Brent Clyde, Damon (Ping) Clyde; 26 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 28, 2020 at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 12:00 noon.  Family and friends can sign an online memorial guestbook at www.bouldercityfamilymortuary.com
