Robert Louis Mayer

Robert Louis Mayer, age 73, of Las Vegas, NV passed away on April 17, 2022 with his wife and daughters by his side.  He was born on February 18, 1949 in Queens, NY to Howard Mayer and Mary Montella Mayer.  He married Erica Ellman on April 28, 1990 in New York, NY.  They moved to Las Vegas from a military base in Germany in 1990.  Robert served his country in the United States Air Force and retired in 1993.

Robert was a fun person to be around whether he was telling jokes or cooking a fine Italian dish.  He enjoyed history, writing and traveling. Robert loved animals, especially dogs. He was kind and compassionate and treated them like his children. He found comfort and purpose with their shared daily routines.  Family was what he cared about most and enjoyed developing a unique relationship with his wife and his daughters.

Robert is survived by his wife Erica Mayer; two daughters Samantha Mayer, Courtney Mayer.
