Roger Montgomery Obituary

Roger LaVon Montgomery passed away on Monday March 7th 2022. He was born June 7th 1942 in Gordon Nebraska. He lived several years in Colorado before moving to Nevada in the late 80's. Roger spent 4 years in Austin Texas serving in the air force. Years later he began working at the Boulder City Municipal Golf Course in the maintenance department till he retired in 2009. He spent most of his retirement at that golf course and many others. Golfing was his passion.

Roger is survived by long-time friend Dorothy Kane (BC, NV) son's Mark Reames (Hoisington, KS) and Eric Montgomery (BC, NV) and daughters Christina Chestnut (Franklin, NE) Candice Hayes (Golden, CO) and Trava Hicken (Littleton, CO) He has 6 living grandchildren and 2 deceased.

Our dad requested not to have a service but to just honor his memory. We will be putting together a celebration of his life for family and friends. Date and time will be later determined. Family and friends can sign an online memorial guestbook at www.bouldercityfamilymortuary.com
