Ronald Reg Minghelli

Ronald Reg Minghelli, a long time resident of Palmdale, CA passed away on Feb. 18, 2022  in Henderson, NV.  He was born May 21, 1953 to Edward and Lillian Minghelli in Covina, CA.

Ron's 68 years of life was filled with several careers. First in construction and pool building (Minghelli Pools of Palmdale, CA).  He retired from Antelope Valley Hospital after 20 years as a respiratory therapist. He further extended his working experiences as a building inspector until retirement.
 

Ron was known as an avid collector of things.  He enjoyed hunting for treasures from antique stores, flea markets, garage sales, and roadside stops.  He loved nature and animals demonstrated by his dedication to his garden and pets.  Ron could never resist the opportunity to rescue an injured or lost animal or feed the birds.  He made his daily walks with his dogs a priority. 

Ron is survived by his devoted wife of 29 years: Debra Hollis of Henderson, NV; his two sons Ronnie and Aaron Minghelli and his daughter Carly (Chris) Nickerson of Raleigh, NC; his sisters Cokie (Les) Booth of Boulder City and Bambi (Ron) Raney of Henderson; his grandchildren Christopher, Maya, Charlotte, and Zendaya of NC; Tanner and Parker of AZ; and Xane of Kansas. Along with many relatives and friends. His good heart will be greatly missed by many.

His death is preceded by his sister Lillian McGuire-Smith and his brother Edward Minghelli Jr.

There will be a memorial service for Ron at Grace Community Church at 1150 Wyoming St. Boulder, City, NV 89005 on March 12 at 12:00 pm followed by a Celebration of Life. Family and friends can sign an online memorial guestbook at www.bouldercityfamilymortuary.com

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to FatKittyCity.org, an animal shelter established by his late brother.
