Wayne Alderson Obituary

 

Wayne Alderson was welcomed at heaven’s door on April 27, 2020 from Boulder City Nevada. He is survived by his wife of 41 years Cathie. His older sister Lillian Bennett, baby sister Phyllis Doan, and his twin Juanita Hermance. His children whom he loved and teased; Cheryl Lee Little, Donna Jean Irving, Mark Wayne & wife Marcia, Timothy Jay & wife Tracy, Ty & Taro Thomas, & Tami Lowayne. Grandkids; Benjamin & Janelle Irving, Michelle and Matthew Alderson, Kyle Little, Kit and Caleb Alderson, Justin, Janaya and Austin Thomas. Great grand babies; Jake Irving, Trey & Zane Thomas, Maverick, Owen & Brody Peters.

 

Babies were always his love and happiness. Wayne was a family man, active in his children’s music and sports. Coaching baseball was his favorite. Wayne and Cathie were excited to travel the world. Wayne loved to share travel and kids’ stories with humor. His humor was every persons’ delight.

 

Wayne was born on May 2nd, 1934 to Norman and Lola Alderson in Shullsburg Wisconsin. At 16 the farm life was left behind for California living. He started supporting and building his own family at 20. Family homes were Orange and Fountain Valley Calif. He worked 40 years at Weyerhauser in Anaheim where he proudly was President of the Paper Union. until, as he would say “those damn computers took over" in 1996, so it was time to retire. Wayne & Cathie moved first to Henderson, Nevada to enjoy his favorite pastime of gambling. Once moved to Boulder City, Wayne said “Our final move, the best; overlooking the lake and mountains". Wayne joins his mom, dad, siblings, grandson and nephews in Heaven.
