William Oden

Oden, William Randall (Randy), 66, of Boulder City, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Desert Springs Hospital in Las Vegas, NV.

Randy was born in El Paso, TX to William and Maxine Oden on January 21, 1953. He went to school at El Cajon Valley High in San Diego, CA. Randy worked construction for almost 50 years and was an Operating Engineer for the Local 12 Union in California and Nevada for 18 years. Randy loved 4-wheeling and fishing his entire life. He enjoyed catching tuna with his son, Travis, boating with his kids and extended family, driving his old CJ Jeep, and he had a great passion for music. Randy gained a renewed sense of life and joy with his 3 grandchildren: Everly Marie (10mos), Braylon Kai (4), and Levi Randall (5mos). Those closest to Randy knew him as a kind and sensitive man, with the most unique sense of humor. He will be missed dearly.

Randy is survived by his son Travis Daniel, and wife Erin and child Everly Marie; his daughters Bonnie Janel and Breanna Leigh Oden; his mother, Maxine L. Oden; his four sisters, Suzanne McFetridge, Cheri Swenson, Mary Hoest, and Patricia Cadby; his brother, Steven Oden; his best friend and partner, Christa Syverson and her children: Lisa, Kyle, and Mindy; and grandchildren: Drew, Lia, Braylon Kai, Levi Randall, and Ryen Everly.

Randy is preceded in death by his father, William D. Oden.
